Carson Palmer obviously took advantage of the bye week to get more familiar with the playbook and the offense as a whole.  He threw three TDs, but also threw three INTs.  Palmer could be worth picking up if you need a week 11 bye-week fill in, but this is not the week to start him.  The Chargers defense is actually pretty decent.  Aaron Rodgers made them look silly last week, but Rodgers can do that to just about any defense.  Darrius Heyward-Bey, after catching five passes for 89 yards last game, had zero catches, so it’s hard to trust anyone in the Raiders passing game.  Two of Palmer’s TD passes went to RBs who usually don’t catch many passes.  Jacoby Ford led the team with five receptions for 105 yards, but last week had just two catches for 13 yards.  Michael Bush ran well in Darren McFadden’s absence and looks like he will get the start again this week.  Not the easiest matchup this week, but he is an every-down back, and should go over 15 carries again this week.

Mike Tolbert, getting the start over an injured Ryan Mathews, played great, breaking tackles and piling up the yards against a very strong GB rush defense.  Mathews is questionable to return this week, so Tolbert is a fantastic play this week if Mathews can’t go.  Oakland has been horrible against the run, and I could easily see Tolbert approach 200 total yards from scrimmage.  Vincent Jackson finally woke up last week, after a few dormant games.  Malcolm Floyd is probably going to be a game-time decision, so Vincent Jackson and Antonio Gates would be in for another big week if Floyd can’t go.  Phillip Rivers might be kept under 300 yards this game, simply because of how easy it is to run on Oakland, but should have a solid game.  If Tim Tebow can throw for two TDs against the Raiders, I think Rivers can do the same.
